About Me
Hi! My name is Dan, I am the owner and operator of Sydney Detangling. As a dreadlock specialist at my primary venture 'Heavy Dreadz', I have been crafting exceptional dreadlocks since 2018. In mid 2020 in response to community demand, I expanded my dreadlock services to include general hair detangling and hair dematting services. Since then, I have developed and honed my skills in these areas, and I am now proud to present Sydney Detangling as a specialised stand-alone hair care operation, exclusively providing premium hair detangling and hair dematting services independent of my 'Heavy Dreadz' business.

How long will it take?Detangling hair can be a time-consuming process. Heavy matting may require over 10 hours to detangle, while lighter matting, which affects individual sections rather than the entire head of hair, usually takes less time.

How much will it cost?Hair detangling and dematting services are charged at an hourly rate of $80. Regrettably, it is not possible to provide direct quotes based on photos or during a consultation; only an estimated timeframe and cost can be offered.

Where are you located?Sydney Detangling is situated in Mount Druitt, Sydney. For privacy reasons, the precise address is not disclosed until a booking is confirmed.

My child has tangled hair, can you help?Certainly, but please take into account the following: - The procedure may last several hours. - It can become painful, especially as detangling progresses towards the scalp. - The child must stay seated throughout the session. Regrettably, I cannot offer a mobile service or accommodate the process on a couch, bed, or floor in my studio due to the nature of the task. - The procedure might need to span multiple sessions, considering the anticipated duration and potential discomfort.
